Buying a house is stressful, but Robert made the entire process go as smoothly as possible.
He is extremely responsive. When asked financing questions, or for a new pre approval letter, he was often able to run the numbers and get that for us within an hour. He was also patient with us as house after house fell through before we finally found the perfect place.
We shopped around for rates and Robert was hands down the lowest. Our real estate agent talked up his own lender, but when contacted the lender was floored by the rates and said there was no way he could match them. Our agent called our rates 'a unicorn'. Robert also managed to find a great deal giving us a couple thousand in lenders credits!
Robert owns many properties and has done this for quite some time. His experience saved us so much money. As we were new and inexperienced he was able to look at our loan cost estimates and help reduce them as much as possible. For example, we went shopping for home insurance and when we showed him our lowest quote he suggested someone else who ended up saving us $500 a year.
Robert walked us through every step, explaining what to expect and ways to make things easier the entire time. He was our rock through the entire process, since we purchased a house directly through the listing agent (with no agent of our own). And he did all of this without operating in the same county as us! Do not worry if he is not your local lender, he will be more responsive and helpful than anyone.
To summarize: Robert saved us money, lowered our stress levels, was highly responsive, and a rock in an otherwise turbulent home purchase. We cannot recommend him more.
